SACRAMENTS

Baptisms are celebrated throughout the year within Sunday mass.

Due to COVID 19, they are presently celebrated individually on a Sunday or Saturday but will return within the Mass once we are Covid Safe.

Couples contact the parish office to make an appointment to meet the parish priest.

They will need to attend an evening of preparation prior to the baby’s baptism.

Details will be given at the interview with the parish priest regarding preparation and requirements prior to the baptism.

The Sacraments of First Recollection, First Eucharist, and Confirmation are celebrated throughout the year with our parish schools at Weekend Masses.

Children that attend government schools attend Catechetical classes on a Thursday between 4-5 pm and then together with the children from our parish schools celebrate their respective Sacrament at the time allocated accordingly.

Children celebrate the Sacrament of reconciliation in year 3, the year before they make their First Eucharist.

Details about the Sacramental Program for 2022 will be available early next year.

Children are currently preparing to celebrate their First Eucharist.

Catechetical classes for children in government schools will commence on Thursday 29 July due to extended lockdown.
